Sweet Meadow Farm Wedding

As a wedding photographer, I’ve learned an obvious truth: Every wedding and every couple are truly unique. I have never shot the same type of wedding twice and I really love that about this line of work. I’ve also just been so blessed to work with joyful couples who just get it. They understand that their wedding day– as special and important as it is– is just the beginning! It marks this incredible start to an even more beautiful adventure that is filled with so much joy, challenge, growth, and love. And let me just say– Lynn and Christopher are one of those couples that just get it. Their Sweet Meadow Farm and HomePlace Wedding was a dream.
They chose to tie the knot under a beautiful oak tree with an intimate ceremony and then on to the reception for chicken and waffles and dancing! So lemme just say….I’ve shot at a fair share of beautiful country venues but Sweet Meadow Farm and HomePlace took the cake for me! The land, the historic barn, the mountains in the distance, the slower pace, everything was just beautiful! But what was even more beautiful was the way Lynn and Christopher looked at each other the entire day. The way their friends spoke about their faith and character. The way Christopher shared a special dance with Lynn’s two daughters while she looked on with joyful tears. Just. Completely. Beautiful.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: I don’t think I will ever get tired of photographing weddings and being reminded of Christ’s unconditional and redemptive love. And this wedding was the perfect reminder.
