While I was visiting family back in the south a month ago, I had the enormous joy of photographing a portrait session in Senoia, GA for Fernanda and Michael. I met Fernanda right after I moved to NY when she booked me for her wedding. We were supposed to be celebrating her wedding day this past May, but after COVID shut everything down, this sweet couple had to make the painstakingly difficult decision to cancel their wedding. While their wedding celebration was put on hold, their love was not cancelled! So I decided that we needed a pick-me-up and needed to celebrate their marriage anyway! And what better way to do that than to get dressed up for a couple’s session? Because let’s be real, they deserved some pretty photos after everything they’d been through.
I also messaged my sweet friend Ashley of Luna Rose Floral Studio and asked if she would help me surprise Fernanda by putting together a bouquet with some of the flowers Fernanda planned to have in her wedding. And ya’llllllllll….they were GORGEOUS and the sweetest touch for their portrait session in Senoia.
These two were my first official photography session since Georgia reopened and it was such a breath of fresh air to be out photographing a couples again, especially sessions as lovely as this one. I had so much fun spending time with these two love birds and getting to capture some sweet moments for them. So here’s just a little snippet from their gallery ;).
