A couple of weekends ago, I had the pleasure of traveling back to my home state for some sweet time with friends and family and also to capture Kaitlyn and Nathaniel’s fall wedding at the Barn at High Point Farm! This place had it all–flower gardens, horses, goats, open fields–it was just gorgeous!

Let me begin by saying that these two are the sweetest! They met each other in school and developed feelings for each other after a few group hangouts with friends. Nathaniel asked Kaitlyn to officially be his girlfriend on a hot air balloon ride and the rest is history!

Ya’ll…the whole day was just so sweet and beautiful. The venue was so perfect and Kaitlyn and Nathaniel were all smiles ALL DAY and you could just feel how excited they were to say “I do” to each other. They were just pure joy. There were some moments during the day that even had me tearing up a few times– I literally almost cried when Kaitlyn got into her dress (yes she was THAT stunning!), when Kaitlyn’s dad sang the song “I will be here” after he walked her down the aisle *cue all the tears*. The last time was when they both read their personal vows to each other promising to keep Christ at the center of their marriage. Phew! So many happy tears! I tell ya what…I’ll never get tired of this job and all the emotions that come with it!

Their day was filled with so much joy, laughter, love, happy tears, horses, baby goats… I mean it was just magical! So without further ado, here’s a few highlights from their day :).

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT Sarah

At home in the garden. Ever-focused on finding beauty in simplicity and the art of creating.

After photographing my first wedding nearly a decade ago, I was immediately drawn into the magic of creating a visual narrative that artfully expressed a couple's love story. Motherhood deepened my passion and inspired me to create images that were even more timeless and meaningful- photos that truly captured the moment in a real and organic way.

I believe in an approach that is people-centered, simple, and rooted in kindness: guiding my couples with unhurried, tailored prompts that result in beautiful images that tell your story how you want to remember it.

When my camera is not in hand, you can find me at home with my four children, dreaming up my next home improvement project, or planning out my next addition to our garden.
