Choosing a wedding venue sets the tone, aesthetic and overall imagery of your wedding day and the selection process can feel daunting to say the least. As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph weddings all over the south but I want to share three Georgia wedding venues stand out for their timeless […]
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing some beautiful fall family portraits at Trilith. And it was extra special since I was photographing my brother’s family! Trilith is a great backdrop for portraits with its beautiful homes, shops as well as various parks and green spaces. This charming park provided the perfect natural backdrop with […]

Written by: Olivia Riddle of CallaRose Planning If you look up “intimate wedding” on Google, you’ll find a wide range of definitions but one that resonates the most is “a celebration with a smaller guest count (typically no more than 50 guests) that centers its focus on the couple and their relationship rather than the […]
Standard Portraits First The very first thing I do when I begin a family portrait session is capture the standard portrait- everyone looking at the camera smiling! Typically little ones start out content and calm so I like to capture this portrait when everyone is in a good mood. I also like to capture these […]
Every year, I get the joy of meeting and re-connecting with sweet families and their little ones. Most of my sessions take place outdoors in either the spring or the fall which offer a variety of backdrops and locations. But since these backdrops can be so varied depending on what is blooming or when leaves […]
Angela and Ryan’s springtime wedding at The Barn at Oak Manor was an intimate and sentimental affair at the height of spring in May. Their ceremony took place under the mother oak tree at the Barn at Oak Manor where vows were exchanged and joyful tears were shed. After their romantic portraits they enjoyed cocktail […]
Lydia and Chaille’s spring engagement session was special for so many reasons- the main one being that Lydia has been a sweet friend to me over the years and capturing this milestone for her and Chaille was such an honor. We were able to do their spring engagement session at Spyglass Island on Lake Peachtree […]
BEHIND THE LENS
At home in the garden. Ever-focused on finding beauty in simplicity and the art of creating.
I'm Sarah and I'm beyond blessed to photograph amazing people on some of the most important days of their lives. After photographing my first wedding nearly a decade ago, I was immediately drawn into the magic of creating a visual narrative that artfully expressed a couple's love story. Motherhood deepened my passion and inspired me to create images that were even more timeless and meaningful- photos that truly captured those moments and emotions in a real and organic way.
My goal is to photograph your wedding as if it were my own- blending beautiful portraiture with candid emotional imagery. I believe in an approach that is people-centered, simple, and rooted in kindness: I will guide you when needed and also step back to let those beautiful candid moments unfold naturally, ensuring your memories are not only preserved but also felt.
When my camera is not in hand, you can find me at home with my four children, dreaming up my next home improvement project in our 120 year old home, or planning out the next addition to our garden.
