Heirloom Newborn Session || The Siuda Family

It couldn’t have been more fitting to get to kick off the new year with this dreamy, in-home newborn session in Peachtree City with Amanda, Mark and their beautiful little ones. New year. New life. Although, baby Banks couldn’t wait for 2022 so he surprised his momma and daddy by arriving two weeks early on December […]

Heirloom Family Portraits at Trilith

I consider it such an honor when families invite me to document their intimate and precious memories each season. These family portraits at Trilith are some of my favorite to date. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to capture some sweet moments for Luke, Emily and their adorable little ones and I’m always bewildered […]

Newborn Lifestyle Session at Home

One thing I love about getting to photograph families is seeing my repeat clients and their sweet families grow. I met Emily and Luke a few years ago (back when they just had one sweet baby!) and was honored to photograph her family for the holidays. Since then, their family has grown by two more […]

Arabia Mountain Sunset Engagement Session

I’m so thrilled to share Angela and Ryan’s Arabia Mountain sunset engagement session! And let me just begin by saying that these two were absolute legends for hiking up a mountain on a warm summer evening at the end of June!  Angela and Ryan love spending time in out in nature so they chose Arabia […]

Choosing The Perfect Portrait Location

One of the first questions I get from my portrait clients is “Where should we do our portrait session?” (This one usually comes right after “What should I wear?!”) While the answer to choosing the perfect portrait location varies from client to client, I’m hoping to give just few tips to help you narrow your […]

My kid’s capsule wardrobe

What is a Capsule Wardrobe? You may be wondering what the heck a capsule wardrobe is. To put it simply, a capsule wardrobe is a collection of a few essential clothing items that do not go out of style (think classic, not trendy) that can be augmented with seasonal pieces throughout the year. The key […]

Springtime Family Session

I don’t even know where to begin. Somehow through all the chaos of our uprooted lifestyle, a tornado, and homeschooling my kids, I am still getting to do something I love. I STILL get to photograph beautiful wedding days and gorgeous families. I still get the privilege of capturing some of the most momentous and […]

Unpopular Opinions about Weddings

As a practical and minimalist minded person, let me begin this by saying these are just my opinions that have been based on my own wedding experience, having been a bridesmaid a few times, and what I’ve observed as a wedding photographer. Being more on the minimalist side, some of these will undoubtedly be on […]

Homeschool Part 2: Our Daily Rhythm

I’ve received a lot of questions about what a typical homeschool day looks like for us so here it is! I’ve written out our homeschool daily rhythm but keep in mind, my kids are Pre-K and Kindergarten ages so it’s fairly simplistic. It’s recommended to spend about 20min-1hr for Pre-K and up to 2 hours […]

Homeschool Part 1: Our why & Our curriculum

I’ve had quite a few conversations with friends and family lately about homeschool- what curriculums we use, what our daily rhythm looks like, why we homeschool, etc. So I thought I’d make a post about it since the answer to those questions are more involved than just picking a curriculum and creating a schedule. First […]

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT Sarah

At home in the garden. Ever-focused on finding beauty in simplicity and the art of creating.

I'm Sarah and I'm beyond blessed to photograph amazing people on some of the most important days of their lives. After photographing my first wedding nearly a decade ago, I was immediately drawn into the magic of creating a visual narrative that artfully expressed a couple's love story. Motherhood deepened my passion and inspired me to create images that were even more timeless and meaningful- photos that truly captured those moments and emotions in a real and organic way.

My goal is to photograph your wedding as if it were my own- blending beautiful portraiture with candid emotional imagery. I believe in an approach that is people-centered, simple, and rooted in kindness: I will guide you when needed and also step back to let those beautiful candid moments unfold naturally, ensuring your memories are not only preserved but also felt.

When my camera is not in hand, you can find me at home with my four children, dreaming up my next home improvement project in our 120 year old home, or planning out the next addition to our garden.

LET'S mAKE

Something Beautiful

With an emphasis on natural beauty, our photography highlights the organic moments and romantic story of your wedding day. We aim to create beautiful images that tell your love story with authenticity and elegance.
