When it comes to planning your wedding, it’s easy to feel the pressure to create something grand — hundreds of guests, a packed timeline, and a celebration that fills every moment. But for many couples, there’s a quiet tug toward something more personal. A micro wedding offers just that — a celebration centered on meaning, […]

When you’re planning a wedding, it’s easy to get caught up in checklists and trends—sunset shots, champagne pops, flat lays, Pinterest boards. Wedding Detail Photos: What To Have Ready And Why They Matter

You’ve probably heard the phrase “it’s the little things,” and when it comes to wedding photography, that couldn’t be more true. BEHIND THE LENS with alabama wedding photographer

Meet Sarah

I've cried at over a hundred weddings.
Still not sorry about it.

I'm Sarah — wife, mom of four, and someone who still gets a little emotional at ceremonies.

After ten years and nearly a hundred weddings, I've stopped thinking of photography as documentation. I think of it as preservation. The people we love are everything, and it's my job to capture the moments you share with them.

My approach is simple: intimacy without intrusion. The most honest images happen when you forget I'm there — when I'm watching, not directing. The look on your partner's face before they knew anyone was looking. The way your grandmother held your hand before you walked down the aisle. Those are the moments I'm after, and you can't manufacture them.

I believe photographs are one of the only things we leave behind that actually tell the truth. Not the highlight reel. The real thing.

I'm based in Auburn, Alabama and photograph weddings and families across the Southeast — Atlanta, Savannah, 30A, and wherever else couples invite me. Over a decade in, I still show up to every wedding like it's the only one that matters.

Because for that couple, it is.
